if it goes up now it defies two of your theories, lengthening cycles and lower volatility. If it goes up now it will shorten the cycle and top up within a year or two, however if you believe there will be a mean reversion to the log channels then that means increased volatility.

I’m glad you mention capital gains tax. Ppl forget you have to hold an asset for a year to avoid higher taxes so better to buy bitcoin now than years down the road. Forget the short term movement

It's interesting to see all these bears around every corner, relying solely on TA charts to tell them where the market will go next. TA works sometimes, lots of times it doesn't. Interesting to see so many bears think TA works all the time. It's funny to watch.
